Okolju prijazni leseni lamelirani lepljenci / Environmentally friendly glued laminated timber

Povzetek: V prispevku so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave o lameliranih lepljencih, ki so bili izdelani iz termično modificirane smrekovine in zlepljeni z lepilnimi mešanicami, ki so vsebovale različne deleže utekočinjenega lesa. S proučevanjem trdnostnih lastnosti lepilnih spojev je bilo ugotovljeno, da je iz termično modificirane smrekovine in lepila, ki je vsebovalo del utekočinjenega lesa, možno izdelati lamelirane lepljence, ki so primerni za izdelavo stavbnega pohištva. Zahteve so izpolnjevali lepljenci, ki so bili lepljeni z lepilno mešanico iz 25 % utekočinjenega lesa in 75 % klasičnega melamin-urea-formaldehidnega lepila. Ker je bil del lepilne mešanice izdelan na osnovi obnovljivega naravnega vira – lesa, je ta rezultat z ekološkega vidika obetaven za nadaljnja raziskovanja. Okolju prijazni so lepljenci tudi zato, ker niso bili kemijsko tretirani. Odpornost proti biotskim ter abiotskim dejavnikom jim je bila izboljšana zgolj s termično modifikacijo lesa.

Abstract: Bonding performance of glued laminated timber, which was produced from the heat treated wood and bonded with the adhesive mixture containing different proportions of liquefied wood, was studied. The results of the shear strength of the adhesive bond indicated that the heat treated wood bonded with the adhesive mixture containing liquefied wood can be used as elements for windows. Standard requirements have been fulfilled with the specimens, which were bonded with the adhesive mixture containing 25 % of liquefied wood and 75 % of melamine-urea-formaldehyde adhesive. Novel laminated composites from heat treated wood, bonded with new type of adhesives, represent ecologically friendly products because a part of adhesive was made from natural renewable material – wood. No chemicals were used for the improvement of durability of wood. The increased durability and improved dimensional stability of the wood was achieved by the heat treatment.
